A few words for the Ultrasound equipment
General Electric GE's Voluson® 730 Expert is a powerful system that enables real-time techniques for acquiring, navigating and analyzing volumetric images. It is probably one of the few in Greece which can provide real-time 3D images for the Gynaecological and Obstetrical examination.
1st trimester Obstetrics
The industry leading 4D (real-time 3 Dimensional) endo-vaginal transducer technology allows quickly acquiring volumes of the first trimester fetus and easily performing the required analysis.
2nd/3rd trimester Obstetrics
Using the industry's lightest 4D (real-time 3 Dimensional) abdominal transducer the doctor can perform a standard ultrasound exam.
Gynaecology
From pelvic pain to incontinence and infertility, utilizing the 4D (real-time 3 Dimensional) endo-vaginal transducer, the doctor can obtain excellent views of polyps, fibromas, cysts and ovarian or tubal pathology, as well as uterine abnormalities (septum, bicornuate uterus etc).
Breast
With the linear transducer, the doctor can conduct a comprehensive breast ultrasound exam in minutes, yielding high-quality images, critical for the dense-breast or high-risk patient.
